Spray Tanning

PREP
-
Schedule all hair removal (waxing or shaving), massage, nail and spa services at least 24 hours prior to a tanning appointment.
-
Exfoliate from head-to-toe using an exfoliating mitt, concentrating on drier areas to ensure an even application.
-
Avoid sunburn. This can include from a month prior; it can cause the skin to peel.
-
Avoid body washes like Dove & Olay that can leave a film on the skin and prohibit your spray tan from fully developing.

DAY OF APPOINTMENT:
-
Avoid showering the day of your appointment.
-
Do not apply anything to the skin such as lotions, oils, perfume and shaving cream.
-
Remove all deodorant and makeup prior to appointment.
-
Wear loose clothing (no leggings or jeans) and flip flops (or shoes that are not too tight).
AFTERCARE
-
It takes 24 hours for your tan to fully develop.
-
The tan develops on the outermost layer of the skin. As your skin sheds, so will the tan. Keeping your skin moisturized will allow your tan to last longer (Ideally, twice per day).
-
Avoid oils, body washes and lotions that contain added sulfates. We recommend Native and Hempz.
-
Avoid shaving cream. Use a fresh razor and a gentle body wash.
-
Avoid long durations in swimming pools, hot tubs and saunas.
-
No exfoliating until you are ready to remove your ran. This also applies to chemical exfoliants such as Retin-A, AHA, BHA, and Salicylic Acid.

Lashes
PREP:
-
Please arrive to your appointment with clean lashes and no makeup.

AFTERCARE:
-
Keeping your lashes clean has several important roles including the health of your natural lashes. We suggest that you wash your lashes with a special lash extension foaming soap only and use it once daily.
-
Natural oils, exfoliating skin, residual makeup can get trapped around the extension where it attaches to your natural lash. This can cause extensions to fall off sooner. Dirty lashes can also lead to health issues like inflammation along the lash line, infections, mites and more.
-
We recommend timely lash fills every 2-3 weeks. Natural lashes each have their own life cycle. Each lash is at a different stage of growth. We naturally lose two to four lashes a day. It is hard to notice small lashes falling out, but when there is an extension attached, it can be more noticeable.
-
Humidity, steam or touching your lashes can cause the lash glue to wear down and the extensions can fall off. At your fill appointment we replace what has been lost and grown out. Usually at a 4 week time frame, too many lashes have grown out or have been lost and you will most likely be a full set again.
-
Do not wear mascara on your lash extensions! Mascara clumps extensions together and is virtually impossible to remove from extensions. If you feel like you need to wear mascara, you likely need to make lash fill appointments sooner or you may want to think about a thicker set of lashes.
-
Please be careful around heat. Lash extensions are synthetic and can and will melt. Fires, ovens, stovetops and even smoking will singe your lashes. Making it hard to brush through and they will need to be completely removed.
